My favorite quote is “What gets measured, gets done.” I like to add “What gets measured, gets done, and always improves.” I’ve found this is powerful when applied to my life and my business. What I take the time to track, measure, and write down always gets more attention. And where attention goes, energy flows, and results show.

Let’s apply it to physical fitness. I write down:

  • What I did in the gym
  • What I ate (macros)
  • What my glucose levels are
  • What my weight is

If you’re tracking your goals in your business and you plot out and track your progress you’re keeping it at the front of your mind. Because your attention and energy are focused on your goals, you’ll see results. You’ll build momentum and see growth.
