I don’t know about you, but I love to listen to books. I’m an auditory learner, so I love Audible. I’ve listened to hundreds of audiobooks over the years because I believe the books that you read shape the way you view the world. They shape the actions you take, the person you become, and the results that you generate. It all starts with your mindset.

Your mindset unlocks your potential

My Favorite mindset book of all time is “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind” by T. Harv Ecker. It lays the foundation of how your thoughts lead to feelings, feelings lead to actions, and actions drive your outcomes. It unpacks the key thoughts and mindset millionaires hold. It was a game-changer for me. I listened to it after my first agency failed. I was driven to succeed but wasn’t seeing results. I had to change my mindset. It was holding me back.

Reach Local to Seven Figure Agency

One thing that stuck out to me was to become successful, millionaires build assets. They create passive income after building a profitable business. One of the best ways to get into a business is to find a field you’re interested in, then find someone successful to emulate. You can get a job in that field and learn the ins and outs.

So I took a pay cut and got a job at Reach Local and worked there for about a year. I learned how to charge the right way. I learned what local businesses would pay. I spent some time there and saw some things I could improve on and deliver better client results. I left and started my own business and built a seven-figure agency. It all started with the right mindset.
