Alright guys, well I am here with our 2019 Agency of the year Danny Barrera. We kind of stacked up all of our clients or all the members of the seven figure agency based on growth rate based on pipeline revenue growth. We have a couple of prizes we awarded the fastest growing the Rookie of the Year. Danny was actually rookie of the year last year. And this year by all stats, he is the the outright winner of the agency of the year 2019. As I see it, 330% year over year growth from 2018 to 2019. He grew from 23,000, monthly recurring to 76,000 in monthly on recurring by the end of 2018. That’s over 55,000 in monthly recurring revenue growth. He’s on pace to be over seven figures going through the end of 2020. And really the momentum and the steam behind him is phenomenal. So since he’s not able to join us live and in person at this intensive, I just wanted to get Some words from our agency of the year 2019. You know, tell us tell us how you feel, kind of give us some insights on how you made it happen.
I gotta tell you, Josh, you know, you really caught me off guard, you know, it’s, uh, I don’t do this for the awards or anything like that. But all I’m saying is coming into this program. If I go back two plus years ago, when I was getting started, I don’t know if you remember it was the first live intensive I went to and I said, Hey, by the end of that year, I’m going to have 75 clients and you’re like, I don’t think you know, that’s not a that’s not a realistic goal for yourself, but that was a wake up call for me. And ever since then, I set myself up the goal to to really continue pushing my own boundaries in my own limiting beliefs in, in in all the facets because I didn’t know how to run an agency.
That’s where I learned coming here. I didn’t know how to run an agency the right way. Didn’t know how to structure my packages so that I could scale which is another, you know, thing of its own. I didn’t have any market positioning, so no one really knew who I was. I was not a market leader. So all of those things, I’ve taken it straight right from your playbook from your guidance and Jeff Fisher, you guys have been, you know, phenomenal through this journey. I mean, I don’t know what to tell you seriously.
It’s you know, my father passed away last year right. I you know, I shared that story before but it’s one of those things where looking back at you know, if he was here, and I was able to talk to him I know he would be very proud but you know, the the ability to get to this point financially and be able to give back I mean, my goal was to be able to retire my father I’ve literally 10x that goal, you know, and I made it I want to make something significant. So, you know, I’m opening up a foundation there his name, and you know, Salvador back in In my country, and I will not be able to do those sort of things without money, you know, without what facilitates that whole front ends. And that’s what pushes me motivates me and he has not been, you know, a walk in the park.
I see myself as a David and Goliath in a lot of the things that have happened last year alone. But, you know, I trust in God, I have full faith. And I know he’s on my side. I know he’s right in front of me right behind me right on each side, looking after me. And all I got to do is just go out there and get it. You know, that’s the way I see it.

If you have one piece of wisdom or insight that you can share, just to kind of inspire the others that would love to get similar results. What would you share?
Guys, you see, this is something I’ve learned is whatever you see me see you. Whatever you see in me, whatever. Even the flaws, or whatever inspires you that is in you. Well, you see what I see in Josh Nelson, as a father as a husband, as a business owner and entrepreneur as a marketer, those are things that I see in myself and you know, the thing is, is a lot of times we stop ourselves from, from actually receiving the blessings and the successes because we start thinking, Hey, I’m not worth it.
But the thing is, the bottom line is you have to have beliefs that yes, you can do it. It’s doable, put in the work. But you know, I’m not from another planet, dude. I’ve had it’s so hard. I’ll tell you right now, I you know, I don’t say this to brag, but I’ve made more money than a lot of people in the in the agency world without a green card without an active social security number last year, because I was dealing with that situation without a driver’s license in the United States. And I’ll tell you, if I can do it under those terms. stances. Trust me, if you’ve got that that part covered, you could be 10 steps ahead. But whatever you see me, you know it’s in you. You just got to go and claim it really step out. Yeah, step out of the comfort zone.
