We are coming to the time of the year when most people see the end, but as entrepreneurs, we see the beginning, or at least we should. This is the time of the year we start mentally preparing for the coming year and all the opportunities it’s going to bring us. Keep in mind this is all happening while we still balance the lives of our team and families who are in full throttle holiday mode. For some, this would seem overwhelming but for us, it’s energizing and exciting.
Over the next month and a 1/4 we have to think about our upcoming goals. Make sure our team is on point while still having them enjoy the holiday season. We have to make sure our customers are being taken care of and feel appreciated. Most important of all we have to make sure our families feel special, and they feel we are with them 100% and not thinking about work 24/7.
With all these distractions around us, the most important thing of all is to take the time to be thankful for all we have. We have very special lives and lots of opportunities ahead of us. The most exciting thing about being an entrepreneur is that we get to control our destiny. This holiday weekend when you’re sitting at the Thanksgiving table stop and take a moment to look at everyone with their smiles and laughing and think to yourself what a great family you have and what a great life you have.
The one thing I do every year is thinking about Thanksgiving next year and envision how much better my life is going to be because I’m an entrepreneur.
You may not be exactly where you want to be today, but trust me you will be this time next year with so much more.
