I have a question.

What’s the first idea that pops into your head when you think about the type of video you should create for your agency?

Is it the expert position video?

To define, expert position videos are very focused on providing information about what you do.

These are your “I have the answer to get you a better ranking on Google Maps” videos. Or the “I have the solution to make your website convert better” videos. 

You get the idea.

But if you really think about it…

That type of content is one-dimensional.

Now, what do I mean by that? 

When you look at yourself as an individual or brand, you’re not one-dimensional, right?

You have your personality, clients, backstory, team, and so much more.

That means your business is multi-dimensional, no matter how you look at it.

So, why would you put out one-dimensional video content?

Because if you do that, you project a narrow, one-dimensional image of you and your agency!

If you want better engagement for your content, you need to do more. 

Repetition is not your friend if all you do is show up on video and give information every single time.

It would be like sitting in front of the piano, playing the same note over and over again. 

Do you think anyone will want to listen to that?

No!

You need to hit multiple keys to get a lovely tune that your audience will listen to.

Similarly, you need to add new dimensions to your agency’s content to engage your audience.

Of course, you’ll need to add value by solving problems and answering questions. But you also have to do more.

Add new dimensions to your content by creating some character-based videos, for example. Talk about your agency’s backstory and your team.

Allow people to know, like, and trust you.

Doing these things adds lots of flavor to your videos. It’ll also project a better image for yourself, your team, and your agency.
